Introduction
Zulfiqar Industries Private Limited is a company that was started in 2017. They make stainless steel pipes and tubes in Pakistan. Their factory is built on 46.65 acres of land. The factory has advanced testing equipment and machines that were imported from China. The factory is running at full capacity. In addition to manufacturing pipes and tubes, Zulfiqar Industries is also a leading supplier and trader of other stainless steel products like seamless pipes, angles, round bars, wires, and plates.
Their project was to install a 2MW solar power installation. Professional Energy Solutions have successfully installed 1MW, and the remaining 1MW is still in progress.
Challenge we encountered in the Solar Installation
One of the key challenges Zulfiqar Industries faced in their 2MW solar power project was effective space management. The available land area for the solar panel installation was quite constrained, requiring the team to think creatively and design the layout outside of the typical box. In addition to the limited ground space, the company also had to grapple with load management challenges on the factory’s roof. The roof was constructed with concrete slabs, which needed to be carefully evaluated to ensure the solar panels could be installed without exceeding the weight capacity.
Professional Energy Solutions‘ Expert worked hard to overcome the space and design challenges. Through innovative strategies, we were able to successfully install the first 1 megawatt (MW) phase of their solar power project. The solar energy experts at Professional Energy Solutions demonstrated a willingness to think creatively and find innovative solutions to help Zulfiqar Industries achieve its renewable energy goals.
Our Approach
The entire roof area was utilized through an innovative design approach. The solar energy experts from Professional Energy Solutions played a crucial role in successfully achieving the 1MW solar installation project.
PES utilized the factory’s roof space and constructed a customized G-I (P1) structure to support the solar panels. We installed 1,660 Canadian N-type bifacial solar panels, paired with Huawei 115KTL inverters.
The seamless collaboration and comprehensive utilization of the roof area were key factors in Professional Energy Solutions‘ ability to deliver the 1MW solar power system for Zulfiqar Industries effectively. This achievement demonstrated the team’s technical expertise and commitment to helping the client realize its renewable energy goals.
